UEC Renewable Energy

From time to time, United Electric Co-op (UEC) members receive inquiries from companies wanting to sell the member “Renewable Wind Energy”.  The power portfolio that UEC purchases from Bonneville Power does include “Renewable Wind Energy”.  The carbon footprint for the energy purchased from BPA is one of the lowest in the county!

So when you are approached by out of state companies wanting to sell “Renewable Energy”, be sure to get all the facts from both the company and your energy company, UEC, before making any hasty purchases.

Always be leery of any company wanting your UEC billing information and more importantly your UEC login information.  Don’t let strangers access your account information and most importantly, your payment information.

Please feel free to contact United Electric about the great programs UEC offers our members to help conserve energy or if you have any questions about renewable energy.
